Louis,
this is an RFP (request for proposals) so implied is a contract.
Those interested: please send me email stating you are interested and the CV of the person who would join the work of writing a bid for the project. I'll check whether we still have time and if we seem to gather together the needed strengths.
To those who proposed Diplo or mentioned "policy shops" - no, Diplo will surely bid on their own; and regarding policy shops who would work with us instead of on their own, suggestions welcome.
One final point: please state whether you see a conflict in having the chapter or its leaders competing with your members. For my case it is a serious concern. Should a chapter do consulting like this? (in Mexico our conclusion has been negative so far; this project has something that merits further analysis instead of outright rejection).
Yours,
Alejandro Pisanty

Hi all,
just saw this announcement by UNESCO http://www.unesco.org/new/en/communication-and-information/resources/news-and-in-focus-articles/all-news/news/call_for_proposals_research_on_internet_governance_principles/#.U_0GEPl5Ovd
They are calling for a provider to summarize existing proposals of principles for Internet governance.
This may not be an activity ISOC should take up as a contestant (though why not? details please!)
But could a project like this be something a consortium of chapters undertakes?
At the very least it seems well worth distributing among our members.
Yours,
Alejandro Pisanty
