I see what you are talking about Christian and have added the detail into our upgrade path. Some of this may be available sooner than other bits. Our team will keep all the Connect users posted as we schedule test and implement more useful features.
Thanks and best regards,
Ted

Ted
I thought something must have broken!
Can this new Connect service be reconfigured so that emails coming from it are clearly being sent to me with To: or Cc: an ISOC list address rather than to me personally unless I am actually participating in a conversation or thread. Also including an identifying string for the list in Subject (for instance ISOC List for chapters) would be most helpful improvement i.e., can it behave like a proper email list?
Currently it breaks GTD and other methods to prioritise incoming emails for ISOC lists and so is not yet an adequate substitute for mailman or alternatives because of that.
thanks
Christian

Peter,
I can't offer confirmation that Chapter Delegates or any of the current
email lists are here to stay. Or that they will disappear. What we are
most focused on now is that as many conversations as possible occur in
Connect. The benefits to everyone are clear: an opportunity to get a
digest, the organization of a timeline and archive, the opportunity for
supporting documentation easily found and existing one time in one
version.
We realize there are teething issues to be sure. And more, we know that
there are features, abilities and foundations yet to be fully developed
and rolled out. That is in the near and other future.
My personal hope is that we do away with as many email lists as possible.
Apologies if you think otherwise.
Best regards, always,
Ted
