It's really pathetic to inform you that most of the government concern
person specially developing country like Bangladesh initially do not know
what is ISOC ? and what they are doing ? if anyone know ISOC then think
this organization against government policy making process . So initial
stage our target to minimize information gap between ISOC and government.

For this reason, firstly we shared the information to government about
ISOC's local chapter and global activities also engagement with other
global stakeholder . The method we used weekly (soft copy) and monthly
(hard copy) *custom newsletter* also while we provide the hard copy of
newsletter then tried to meet with the concern person to describe the
details information of this newsletter .

You will be happy to know that after five or six month we got good response
from government. We must invite one government concern person as guest in
our chapter event. These are the example of opportunity to connect with
government to share information what local chapter and ISOC doing in local
and globally . Results ,Now any of the public or multistakeholder meeting
government invite our chapter leaders which related to internet .

I think this experience would be helpful for other chapter who are trying
to connect with government .
