Hello,
Congratulations to Hans Peter, Gihan Das and Hiroshi. The Chapters and
Organizations have voted to elect well qualified Trustees. I am certain
that you have all the commitment to contribute to Internet Society
Governance in this time of increasing responsibilities and challenges.
I do not personally know all the candidates who competed in this election,
but have had occasion to interact with Jean-Jacques SABRENAT, who has not
been sufficiently noticed by Chapters, perhaps because he is less visible
in the Internet Society circles than in ICANN. For someone like him who is
known for his commitment and values, I could only wish at this point of
time that he would continue his involvement and contribute to ISOC policy
and for the evolution of the multi-stakeholder process, despite the outcome
of the election. I particularly wish him very good luck.
Thank you
Sivasubramanian M
