April 4 seems a suitable deadline, and still gives the candidates ample time to respond, and chapters to vote.

That is similar to feedback I have heard from others over the years. In the future, in my personal opinion, an even more interactive forum for Q&A and candidate-voter interaction would be even better (but one step at a time).

Question. Is it possible, if a chapter so wished, to alter one's vote if one should decide to in the light of the new responses?

Yes, that is possible with the BigPulse system.
