Hi Everyone!

A "thank you" to Glenn and Evan for an introduction to an eye-opener of an event. I did not attend per se, but met up with Team Canada to talk about the IXP Toolkit.
They showed me around the exhibition area and I have the book of events and will hand that over to others.

Help us:
Glenn and Evan gave us some great feed-back (preliminary and on the way. We are seeking suggestions/input/feedback from all chapter delegates on the IXP Toollkit Report & Portal.
Collaboration Draft of the Toolkit Best Practices Guide here: http://www.internetsociety.org/ixptoolkitguide
Portal here: www.ixptoolkit.org
Feedback on one or both: feedback at ixptoolkit.org

Best,
Jane

Subject: [Chapter-delegates] NTED Conference and More

Hi

Wow a busy set of days. Evan and Glenn from ISOC Canada attended the NTED Conference for Non Profits in Washington which had delegates from 22 countries including 2100 delegates
http://animoto.com/play/3qzxhRjHVLyf4RM6CteBeg

On the first plenary PIR Public Interest Registry mentioned about the new gTLD program and the opportunities for the .NGO initiative that they are doing.

Immediately we setup for lunch a BIRDS of a FEATHER lunch topic on this initiative and the next day we were on the NON PROFIT RADIO show explaning the nuances of the progam

Today ICANN had a announcement and phone in opportunity to explain the decision to not renew the IANA contract with ICANN and Evan Leibovitch asked two questions to Fadi and Steve. Evan was interviewed with Chroncile of Philantropy and he will be posting in French and English a summary of the call today on the Internet Society of Canada website www.internetsociety.ca<http://www.internetsociety.ca> This video will also be posted to Youtube.
