Dear Ted ,

Thank you for sharing. Base on history of its stewardship, there was no
doubt that the US government will definitely do so. It simply takes time to
handover is baby (The Internet) to new parents: The Global Multistakeholder
Internet Community. The is a start of a long process which will lead to the
fully globalization of the IANA function. But we have to keep in mind that
others issues (participation from developing countries, security, trust
) of
the Internet Governance remain valid.

Looking forward for updates.

Best regards,

Victor Ndonnang

Dear Chapter Delegates and Advisory Council Members,

Today, there was a major announcement from the US Department of Commerce

functions. Please understand: this is the first step in a very important
multistakeholder dialogue about the stewardship of the shared resources that
provide the foundation for the global Internet. We look forward to broad
engagement by the Internet community. We understand that ICANN will begin a
community-wide dialogue as soon as their upcoming meeting in Singapore. We
will provide more information as details emerge in the coming days. A
