Dear Chapter Delegates:
In preparation for the 2014 Internet Society Board of Trustees elections,
the elections committee will present the candidates with a set of
questions to facilitate discussion and share their perspectives on various
topics. The candidate forum commences once the petitions period concludes.
As the elections committee begins to formulate those questions, they would
like to invite members to contribute questions they wish to see addressed
by the candidates. Questions should be posed to (elections at isoc.org) by
March 13, 2014. Valid questions will then be incorporated with those of
the elections committee. Questions from previous years Candidate Forums
are provided below for reference.
Regards,
Elizabeth Oluoch
(On Behalf of the 2014 Elections Committee)

those challenges?

be addressed during your tenure, and how would
you recommend that ISOC respond to them? How do you see the involvement of
ISOC and of ISOC chapters and members?
3. ISOC has a range of strategic initiatives. What do you think of those
initiatives and how would you support making
those initiatives more successful? Are there additional initiatives you
believe are needed?
4. What changes would you like to see in the way ISOC interacts with
chapters, organization members, and individual members?
5. What specifically do you believe you can bring to the ISOC Board of
Trustees and how might you add value?

planning, and handling other financial matters?
