yes.

But the impression I am getting from senior political policy makers
influential in new policy development being selected to be included in
future manifestos is to quote one recent example but anon.

"balkanisation of the Internet is now beginning to gather pace because
of the failure of the Internet community to respond more effectively to
the growing pressures for change - and that is very worrying."

The local chapter has quite a challenge to explain this even to
ourselves just now. We have several opportunities in the next couple of
months to start to build some local bridges locally. I don't know what
Olivier and the others yet think about this as we've not had a chance to
discuss the Brazil thing but I expect it would be hugely useful to have
a presentation that includes view(s) across the range of our peer chapters.

If we can as chapters together work on a brief draft that sets out some
key ideas in time 10th February as on 13th February the next UK IGF is
meeting then that would be very useful for the Internet governance
discussion and also give an opportunity for that meeting to give some
feedback here too.
