Hi Judith,
I would want to take a closer look before signing.
In every part of the world, "freedom of speech" is far from absolute. Many
countries have prohibitions against "hate speech", and/or cultural norms
that prohibit blasphemy, insulting royalty, etc.
Even in the US, certain speech is punishable or at least severely
constrained (remember Janet Jackson at the 2004 Super Bowl?). And the
debate between copyright and "fair use" as an issue of protected speech is
far from resolved.
In this light, I would want to see more closely what is being advocated
before signing on. It looks like a good idea on the surface but I would
want to examine the details.
