I join Roxana in thanking all who have sent their congratulations.  I much appreciate them.

I hope that this message gets through to all the Chapter delegates who are in Sao Paolo for NETmundial.  I look forward to our dinner tonight, and I would like to inform you that, having consulted the Swiss chapter, I have been instructed to request that the NETmundial outcome document contain the strongest possible language regarding limiting mass surveillance.

I look foward to hearing what other chapters think of this.
