I wonder who is the main contact of this activity at ISOC,
since I have been involved in anti-spam activities in Japan,
and I'd like to know more details.

Dear Takaaki Higuchi,

We rarely think of Spam this way, but it has become a human development
problem for several areas of the world, prohibiting citizens from fully
realizing the potential of the Internet. With your help, we are
determined not to let Spam continue to be a barrier to free trade,
educational opportunities, and access to information for developing
countries.

TheInternet Society’s Combating Spam Project

aims to educate policymakers in targeted areas of the world about the
problem and offer innovative solutions.  But, we have not yet been able
to take the project off the ground.  We have only 70% of the funds
needed to get the project running are already available.

We still need to raise $20,000 in the next 30 days to make this project
a reality. This is why your contribution is so extremely important.
