In a study released in 2011 - The Relationship Between Local Content,
Internet Development, and Access

Internet Society, the OECD, and UNESCO jointly reported that local content
was key to the development of Internet access. In this event today the ways
and means are tackled, looking at a special case - Nepal - where there are
123 spoken languages.  It is just about to begin.

Internet Society Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau Director Rajnesh Singh. AIS
