It is one thing to use FB, G+, etc. to reach out to people who voluntarily use them, and another to force an institutional process to anything require additional log-ins, identity management, etc., and which some may oppose in principle.

So outreach fine, electoral debate not, IMO.

because for the _Internet_ Society it would be highly inappropriate
to endorse walled gardens and questionable (and, in fact, questioned)
practices by making a very important internal governance debate
dependent on them.
