Hi everyone,

WIPO's Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances is coming up for discussion here in Estonia next week:

As we managed to defeat ACTA to such an extent last year that Estonia remained one of only five EU countries not to even sign it, we might end up as one of the more important battlegrounds for this treaty as well. EFF and others are certainly predicting very chilling effects for free speech, should the treaty be signed, ratified, and implemented to its full extent.

What are the general views on this treaty? Can we have a discussion of possible problems with it?
