[Chapter-delegates] ISOC BoT election results - thank you

Everyone,
on checking into my email this morning, I was surprised and thankful for
all your messages of goodwill.

To say I was surprised by the election results is completely true - the
quality of our candidates is something that I am utterly impressed by, and
that I should have your confidence for this role is deeply humbling. I will
certainly endeavour to do my best to continue earning that confidence.

Last year I acted as the NOMCOM chair. The people that I saw during that
process, graciously offering their time, people from all around the world,
with outstanding CVs, just astounded me. This year's slate was no
exception. It was a difficult choice for all of us! They are a true
testament to the quality of this organisation that we have people such as
those coming forward offering their time and energy. It is with people of
this calibre that we can ensure the Internet is for Everyone.

So to the other candidates, please continue to offer your time - there is
work for you to do! I certainly appreciate your thoughts, ideas and
contribution. Please feel free to be in contact.
