What a journey!
Wishing you all best in your next challenging endeavors, I'd like to remind everyone that your presence at ISOC-Finland, and at ISOC in general, has been of great importance for, I dear to say, all chapters.
I wonder if you will stay around, and I use the opportunity to wish Yrjo all success he will need, as the success of a chairman is often a sign the chapter is a successful and an active one!

This is to let you know that I'm happily joining the ranks of regular ISOC Members after fifteen years as a member of ISOC Finland's Board, thirteen of which as the Chair. I believe it is high time for me to move on.

The new President of ISOC Finland is Mr Yrjö Länsipuro, whom many of you already know well, so I'll spare the long introductions. Suffice it to say that ISOC Finland is in very good hands indeed.

I would like to thank you all, Chapter delegates and ISOC Staff, for your cooperation, support and friendship during these years. It has been a wonderful experience for me, working as a part of this incredible global team or community or extended family or whatever you like to call it.

Wishing all of you a very good New Year and looking forward to seeing you around. It's a small world, after all.
