Dear Members,
Each year, we reach out to our members seeking their views on Internet
Governance and more specifically on the Internet Governance Forum (IGF).
End of 2012, the Internet Society conducted a formal consultation on
Internet Governance. The findings are now available and we invite you to
read the full report accessible here:
http://www.internetsociety.org/doc/internet-society-consultation-internet-governance-%E2%80%93-2012
The findings will be extremely useful to feed ISOC’s contribution to
upcoming discussions, including the next IGF MAG and Open Consultations
to be held on 28 February and 1 March 2013, in UNESCO’s headquarters,
immediately after the WSIS+10 Review
(http://www.internetsociety.org/wsis/wsis10-review-event).
The findings also provide excellent ideas on how to improve overall the
IGF structure and lead to a successful IGF 2013. Hence, we have annexed
them to ISOC’s contribution to the IGF 2012 Stock Taking consultation:

Throughout the year, we will continue engaging with our members and the
broader Internet community. The input we receive from our members from
all across the world forms a critical part of our engagement in Internet
Governance discussions.
Thanks again for your participation and best regards,
--
