Thanks Ted and everyone for your messages.
2 quick questions:
1. Does anyone know who is responsible within ISOC for the "formal
partnership" with Campus Party? I wanted to ask what are the conditions of
this agreement and what are the necessary steps to plan an event in a new
country (Costa Rica)
"In the summer of 2012 the Internet Society entered into a formal
partnership with the Campus Party. Just as Campus Party's #somethingbetter
movement is working towards using technology responsibly, the Internet
Society's Community Grants program, Chapter work around the globe and
research promotes open development, evolution, and use of the Internet for
the benefit of all people throughout the world."
2. What does the group recommend as a tangible/specific next step in order
to start conversations with Campus Party (within the framework of the
partnership with ISOC) in order to plan an event in Costa Rica? (I have the
direct contact of Paco Ragales, but would like to get to him once I have a
specific action plan)
Christian, your feedback would be highly relevant, since I understand you
spent some time recently with them.
Thanks again,
