Hi Evan,

I have recently started using Paid Memberships Pro (free) the for a side
website. We selected it because it's easy to install, to use and covers
perfectly the use case you describe.

Another option we were evaluating is CivicCRM, that can be installed on top
of WordPress and adds all kinds of options for managing a non-profit.
