Dear Chapter Leaders,

I am in charge of conducting elections at ISOC India Chennai. It is
customary that we have a Voting Committee that accompanies the process
of elections, obtaining candidate data, processing votes, checking for
fair elections and witnessing that the results which are announced are
indeed the results of the vote.

In the last election, the elections committee had no more than 4 members:

- Leslie Allinson (external member - PICISOC ISOC Pacific Islands )
- Olivier MJ Crepin-Leblond (external member - ISOC England)
- Louis Houle (external member - ISOC Québec)
- Dhivya Venkatachalam (internal member - ISOC India Chennai)

This time around, I'd like a slightly larger Committee, with 3 ISOC
India Chennai volunteers and 2 external volunteers - and that's why I
ask you if any of you would like to be on the Committee.

The condition for being in the Voting Committee is that you should not
be a candidate. Also, as the voting is anonymous but you may be able to
view the actual votes of chapter members, you agree to keep the detailed
decisions of voters confidential. Please email me at:
isoc-chennai-vote at gih.com or ocl at gih.com to volunteer to be in the
Voting Committee.

If more than 3 volunteers email me, I'll perform a random choice using a
free randomiser on http://www.random.org/lists/

I look forward to receiving your requests to be in the Voting Committee.

Kind regards,

Dr. Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond
On behalf of the ISOC India Chennai Voting Committee
