Ted,

thanks a lot for this communication. this seems to be a fair, realistic resolution path for the issues raised in this community.

I join David Vyorst in being glad that John More was selected and I am equally pleased that Hans Peter Dittler was. I am sure they have a strong vote of confidence and that our expectations for their work will be fulfilled.

Good luck to all in this crucial stage!

Yours,

Alejandro Pisanty

Asunto: [Chapter-delegates] Selection of chapter leaders to participate on the review of the bylaws revisions.

Dear Chapter Delegates and Advisory Council Members,

The selection of your community representatives to the By-laws Committee to participate in the final revision preparation and review has been completed. We want to thank all of you for your enthusiastic nominations and endorsements both on the list-serve and on more direct communications. All nominated chapter delegates had both professional qualification and standing among chapter leaders. In the end, those selected had the support of the most chapter leaders, had expressed an interest in participating and had been shown to work effectively in the past with the Board of Trustees. The committee believes they will bring the highest level of skill , experience and perspective to the committee. Joining our two Advisory Council representatives to the By-laws committee, Bill Smith and Avril Doria, are our two newest Chapter contributors to the work of the By-laws Committee:

John More - Washington DC Chapter
Hans Peter Ditler - German Chapter

At this point the process the Committee and full board are working toward the following schedule if all goes well:

Full review of all commentary received and summarized 21 November 2012
By-laws Committee asynchronous review of commentary summary 27 November 2012 - 7 December 2012
By-laws Committee recommendations of key issues and inclusion in By-laws revision prepare and sent to the BOT 10 December 2012
Board approves language of commentary 12 December 2012
Final Draft of update by-laws to Board and Board approval for release 14 December 2012]
Town Hall meetings and webinars to review revisions 15 December 2012 - 18 January2013
Board ratifies Bylaws 21 January 2013

Additional information will be sent in the near future directly from the By-laws Committee regarding process details including how and when the four community representatives to participate.

With thanks,

Ted Mooney
