Radio program "Internet Freedom" kicked off

Kathmandu, Nepal

ISOC Nepal Chapter launched a radio program "Internet Freedom" as part
of Internet Freedom Project. The program is being broadcasted weekly
from 11 community radio stations across the country. The program aims
at promoting Internet Freedom for development and freedom of
expression. It also focuses on various dynamics of Internet
technology, standard, law and policy and utility perspective.

The Internet freedom project is supported by Foreign and Commonwealth
Office, UK. Under this project, ISOC Nepal is conducting various
research and awareness activities. For details please visit
www.isoc.net.np and www.internetfreedom.org.np
