All

Please find attached the EU Newsletters for this week.
As said before, thanks for your patience: in a few weeks from now, the letter will be posted and the URL shall be communicated to each of you -which will be more convenient for everybody.
In the meantime, I have attached both a word and a PDF.

> Thanks for your many mails of support! I very much appreciated it so, in short, I shall continue to provide you with such newsletters (concise and focussing on EU *key* issues) on a weekly basis (i.e. on each Monday)
> Also, many thanks for your suggestions, incl. on the format: you're right a word paper is *not* the best solution.
> So here is the plan: I'm currently discussing withg my colleagues of Comms -who are in charge of re-arranging some part of ISOC website. The idea would be to have consistency in our publication as well as in our different Regional Bureau publications.
> I understand that all of this should be fixed by the end of November.
> In short, if you agree, I shall keep sending this letter in the current format for another couple of weeks, until the moment we will publish it on our website—You will then be informed by mail which will point to the URL.
> I believe this does de facto provide clarification to some other questions: yes, this newsletter can be shared with your members and beyond.
>
> Thanks again for your support and useful comments
> I look forward to further share those news on a much more convenient and efficient way for all of you

>> Hi Frederic,
>>
>>
>> the content of such a newsletter is very much appreciated and very

>>
>> I'm painfully aware of the enormous amount of work that goes into such
>> an effort at such a high rate, and would advise that ISOC has
>> additional wetware installed at the European office to help do this.
>> Editorial tasks like this will be a significant strain on the
>> EuroBuro otherwise, but apart from that it is a very efficient way of
>> involving the membership of ISOC and actively connecting them with what

>> is that any news gathering is automatically an opinion on that news, and
>> that given our open nature this puts high demands on the quality of the
>> output.
>>
>> Office documents are not a great format for sending around such
>> content - just not portable to mobile devices etc. I would prefer
>> this to be in the body of a weekly mail itself - possibly in some
>> lightweight text markup language such as Textile, Markdown, Asciidoc.
>> The lack of buttons to change fonts and no images will also enforce
