[Chapter-delegates] Congratulations to the recently nominated ICANN Stakeholder Engagement VPs

On behalf of the Internet Society Staff, the Membership and Services Department would like to wholeheartedly congratulate Veni Markowski and Pierre Dandjinou, for their nominations as Stakeholder Engagement Vice Presidents of ICANN. This is a high recognition of your energetic and thoughtful leadership activities, both in ICANN and in your respective ISOCChapters. 

To Veni and Pierre, as you both are well aware, there are many ISOC Chapters in the regions for which you are responsible.  These colleagues can be helpful to you both in your responsibilities to increase ICANN's global reach and your efforts to enhance cooperation and engagement with various stakeholders. This is also true in those areas where ISOC members are working to form new chapters or rejuvenate former chapters.  It is with great pleasure that we recognize and congratulate you both. We look forward to continuing and growing our cooperation with ICANN on many levels.

It is also worth noting that your ICANN colleagues,  Bayer Esmat and Savenaca Vocea, also nominated for similar regional Vice President positions, have very close ties to the Internet Society as well and we would be remiss if we did not also extend our congratulations to them at this time.
