Hong Kong Chapter:

Edmon Chung, Vice-Chair of ISOC HK, presented about Online Brand and
Presence Development: New Top Level Domains (TLD), Internationalized Domain
Names (IDN) & Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on July 6th.  He intrigued
the participates by discussing the development of domain name usage,
especially the utilization of strategic portfolio of domains, and brand and
presence development online, especially how it relates to Search Engine
Optimization ("SEO") and Search Engine Marketing ("SEM"). He shared how it
can impact of the imminent introduction of new TLDs and the potential of
internationalized domain names ("IDNs"), and how the Asian market may
significantly be changed in the future as it catches up with the US and
European domain industry.
