Chapter Delegates,

Thank you to those who attended the webinar this morning about the ISOC WordPress theme. If you could not attend, it was recorded and Dan Graham will send out that information.

As a result of the session, though, I found a number of primarily documentation fixes that needed to be done and so I wound up packaging a new version, v1.0.11, for download. It also updates the Twitter icon to be compliant with Twitter's new branding policy and removes a number of unnecessary images. I also added a section to the documentation about how you can add a "Blog" section to your site that displays all your current posts.

The updated documentation can be found at:

https://github.com/InternetSociety/isoc-wp/blob/master/readme.markdown

The new ZIP file can be found obtained from the bottom of https://github.com/InternetSociety/isoc-wp/downloads or directly from this link:

https://github.com/downloads/InternetSociety/isoc-wp/isoc-wp-v1.0.11.zip

Unfortunately the fancy "Theme Updater" plugin that would automatically update the theme is not currently working due to some issue with either WordPress 3.4 or Github. Until the plugin developers fix the issue you have to use the regular method of deleting the old version of the theme and uploading the new version. (Or if you have shell/ftp access to your server, simply overwriting the "wp-content/themes/isoc-wp" directory with the new contents.)

If you have any issues with the new version or with installing/configuring the theme, the preference would be for you to open a new issue here: https://github.com/InternetSociety/isoc-wp/issues (requires a free Github account to file an issue, although anyone can *view* issues).

And as I noted in an earlier message, if any of you set up sites using this theme please do feel free to send those URLs directly to me as I'd like to add some links to the documentation so that other chapters and users can see examples of the theme in action.

Thanks,
Dan

P.S. Those who want the details on exactly what was changed in this v1.0.11 release can find them here:
