[Chapter-delegates] Why is ISOC is doing almost nothing to bring affordable Internet to America

it's very difficult to tackle the issue of increased access to lower cost
broadband if it means taking on the telco/cable internet lobby

over many years of talking about this issue, i have yet to see much,
if any movement

the question it seems to me we're faced with is... are we any closer to
getting
a 2nd, 3rd or 4th+ broadband provider(s) in the u.s. and where might they
emerge from?

is there a viable alternative that we could get behind?
