It is a maxim in management science that you cannot manage what you
cannot measure. Given this, Google created and is making publicly
available a global dataset on broadband prices. Based on the response
to our open sourcing of the data, we updated and republished a 2.0
version today. The blog post is here:
http://policybythenumbers.blogspot.com/2012/08/international-broadband-pricing-study.html

The data set contains approximately 3,700 broadband prices in more
than 93 countries.

We hope that people will make good use of the dataset to make informed
policy decisions, based on measurements and data. Please feel free to
share it, reuse it, analyse it, or add to it in any way you see fit.

I am curious to hear your feedback and to learning what you find in
the data.

Warm regards,
Ken
