[Chapter-delegates] By-laws discussion during the Global INET

Dear All,

 Eric’s presentation was very interesting and informative. We have
outlined the vision about ISOC Global, ISOC.AM and Armenian Chapter
relationship.

Option 1. ISOC.AM (Armenian NGO)  is ISOC Armenian Chapter  of Global
ISOC at the same time, with different By-Laws.

Option 2. Inside ISOC.AM we have to create a dedicated group of ISOC.AM
members, who are aggregators of approaches of ISOC Global. This group
will not have any legal status. This group will not have any By-Laws.
In this case we need to understand the status of not dedicated members,
and relationship between ISOC.AM and this dedicated group.

Option 3. Inside ISOC.AM we have to create a dedicated group of ISOC.AM
members, who are aggregators of approaches of ISOC Global. This group
will   have definite   legal status and will be a legal entity with its
By-Law (NGO, official or branch of ISOC Global, other?). In this case we
also need to understand the status of not dedicated members and
relationship between ISOC.AM and this new legal entity.

Option 4. ISOC.AM all members will register themselves in ISOC Global as
individual members. All registered members will aggregate ISOC Global
approaches as a non formal group without legal status and By-Laws.

Other options – there  may be other options as well. In any case, before
using the term “Chapter”  in the Global ISOC By-Law, it is necessary to
have clear definition of this term.

I think it is important to understand, between whom will be the
affiliation agreement -  between ISOC Global and whom?
