[Chapter-delegates] Internet Society / Wikipedia Page update

Dear Fadel,
Nobody and everybody is in charge of updating wikipedia , this is the main problem , as a user-generated encyclopedia.  Most of the times, an administrator  will eventually block the update based on it's own (un)academic experience .
As a personal opinion, I think Isoc should focus on the promotion of (open , free) academic content instead of spending valuable  time  with unacademic , unvalidated user-generated content.
Started as a small project, Wikipedia has become over the years a disinformation tool , the main problem is the validation method (and people).
I noticed Wikipedia's Ceo is a speaker at Global Inet , maybe he will bring a first-hand , qualified answer.
One can create also a Isoc page at Uncyclopedia :) http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

Anyone can edit (even without registering). Editing about yourself 
is frowned upon (although not forbidden):

What could certainly done by PR staff is to provide reliable and stable 
sources on the ISOC webpage as well to maintain links somewhere to 
material published on ISOC by third parties, so it's easy to reference 
also secondary sources, not only those done by ISOC. 

It's too easy fall into typical public relations blahblah (it's 
the first thing I delete from any article I see on Wikipedia).
