[Chapter-delegates] Seeking input: Internet Society's greatest accomplishments

Hi Wende,

speaking about 20 Years of ISOC during the recent Chapters workshop in
Bucharest some efforts have been listed to cover the history of Internet
in the different regions. Chapters were asked to forward their activities
in this respect. (After presentation of work - and a book - from ISOC
Sweden)

So here the effort of ISOC.DE:

Together with one of the most well-known museums for german history we
organized an event Roots of the Net 5 years ago. The complete
documentation
is available at:
  http://www.isoc.de/roots-of-the-net/ (in German - but e.g. Google
translate
    produces understandable results)
As a follow-up we launched a project one years ago - aiming for
documenting
Internet history in the region.

We might be able to compile some of the info for presentation on INET
2012 in Geneva.
