The good news is that we have, at the last minute, arranged to webcast
tonight's "Beyond The Internet" event at Rutgers University via the Internet
Society Chapters Webcasting Channel <http://bit.ly/isoctv>. This panel
discussion is organized by Rutgers Professor Aram Sinnreich who visited
ISOC-NY earlier in the year and gave a talk about MondoNet - a system of
setting up ad hoc cellphone networks - that was highly interesting.
Something that is already in the news this week with "pirate
Wi-Fi<http://www.fastcompany.com/1795011/see-someone-say-something-pirate-wifi-comes-to-nycs-subway>"
experiments on the NYC L train! Webcast starts in less than 30 mins! It
will, of course, be archived.
