Dear Gunela,
This is a really interesting topic and I would be delighted to
organize similar event in our Polish Chapter. I remeber 8-9 years ago
we had similar discussion and even found an apted engineer who
constructed clever devices for disabled people allowing them better
net presence.
In the very early days of Polish Internet (mid 90's) we had even
so called IdN (Internet dla/for Niepelnosprawnych/Disabled) initiative
(it was based on example of my project Internet for Schools (IdS),
initiated and run by late Marek Car, an energetic animator of Internet
Community of Poland and I took part in several their undertakings,
related to the teleworking possibilities for disabled persons).
I would appreciate if you could link me with the persons involved
in current ISOC initiative.
With kindest regards,
Jacek Gajewski
