*Pakistan:  IPv6 day and outcomes*

Reporting from Pakistan: we have a very good experience on World Ipv6 day
2011 here is the details as follows:

*Mass Awareness Campaign (June 1-7 2011)*

We held mass awareness campaign in Pakistan in various cities, Karachi,
Lahore, Islamabad and Small Cities, invited Media and Members from Chapter,
and Multi stakeholders group in Pakistan including Google, and other private
sector organization, Student of Universities and Civil Society Participated
in the events, W also released a press release for Media and General Public
on the World Ipv6 day along with some reading material and web site links.

This was all possible due to recent guidelines of ISOC Chapter and Training
in Srilanka. More details of Pakistan in terms of test by Private sector
Government, available on internet. Thanks ISOC Chapter Support.

*Seminar and Trainings on Ipv6*

We have conducted seminar with university students in various cities, based
on the increase demand we are also planning to have more seminar in coming
months on June and July 2011, with multi stakeholder approach, including
academic, business, civil society, and Internet Community, (We welcome
support in physical input and financial, go cover the cost of events, we
will do your branding in events).

In July we planned to have training in Karachi and Islamabad on Ipv6 from
APNIC, details almost final, any input in this regards and sponsorships is
most welcome from ISOC members, Chapter and Friends, we will also try to
have this in remote participation or live stream, Suggestion Welcome please
contact.

*The Exchange of Knowledge *

We had good experience in getting the knowledge from other ISOC Chapters by
participation online via remote participation we set hub in Karachi and
Islamabad and watched the ISOC Hongkong development on IPv6 with support
from .Asia, (We would like to thank CM) for the hard work he has been doing
for the Internet Community, also from Australia, and other chapters in Ipv6
we followed his links and guidelines during the day the ISOC and Internet
Community in learned a lot about the future of Internet
