[Chapter-delegates] Short video explaining the IETF

Hi friends,

I've sent email on this matter to the Board of Trustees list, ergo also to 
Lynn and other top staff. The gist of it which I think I need to share 
with the Chapters list is as follows:

"I'd wait at least the time it takes to breathe thrice before deciding 
what
to do. The person who posted the video must have plenty of arguments - or
will promptly be supplied with them - that the video is being repurposed
for satyrical and opinion purposes and invoke some US Constitution First
Amendment arguments.

If that happens ISOC could find itself in a hot spot for violating its own
proclaimed principles, plus overreacting, plus giving the video its time
under the Sun by creating the news in the reaction. We could easily become
the poster child for crisis mismanagement."

I'm surprised a bit that Franck and Joly have asked for the takedown of 
the video. While I find it unpleasant and misguided I would hate to create 
a situation that turns a mild annoyance into a "United Airlines breaks 
guitars" case.

What do others think?
