[Chapter-delegates] Follow up note re ACTA

Hi all.
 
Following up Alejandro's note earlier this week advising the Mexican Senate's position on the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), I would like to highlight that Alejandro and other members of the ISOC Mexico Chapter played a very important role in the process leading up to that decision by informing the Senate about the potential implications of ACTA for the Internet, access, use etc.
 
I will let Alejandro provide the details.
 
Also, you may be interested to know that the Council of the European Union recently released a "Proposal for a Council Decision on the conclusion of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, Australia, Canada, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United Mexican States, the Kingdom of Morocco, New Zealand, the Republic of Singapore, the Swiss
