Yes, hard to mobilize a team on Sunday to be ready for Monday 6th June... Better to do it in the middle of the week.

But Marketing can do something on the 6th nevertheless to announce the 8th ;)

Hi,

Especially since June 6 2011 is the 5th anniversary of the decommissioning of the experimental IPv6 backbone (6bone), right?

Well, the sad reality is that engineering is trumping marketing, in this instance: when discussed, the 6th of June didn't fall in a good (operational) part of the week for the content participants, so we picked the 8th.

Leslie.
