Hi Elena

We put our invite online last Weds 14th Dec and members have until the 28th (2 weeks) to get an application in to us. We will put out a reminder during this week too - a bit difficult with everyone getting ready for Xmas break. The Board is preparing a score sheet for our assessment of the applications so that we can make our selection before Jan 2.. after that we will help our candidate get all his/her details to ISOC before Jan 6th. The timeframe was quite short, I agree, but manageable.

We are looking for leaders, and expect that they will be the ones who are proactive and can work within time constraints. So you can still do it and give them 10-14 days to get an application in.

Dear all,

We would love to launch a chapter contest to select the best candidate
for the chapter workshop along the Global INET.

However, looking at the deadlines below - we have to provide a candidate
before January 6, 2012 ?

The time is very short to make a proper "contest" internally, but we
will publish it as it is a good way to create involvement.

Best regards,

Elena Zvarici
