[Chapter-delegates] Global Chapter workshop 2012 - sharing an example

Dear Colleagues,

With permission from Maureen Hilyard from PICISOC, I am sharing below  
one approach to selecting a candidate for the travel fellowship to  
attend the Global chapter workshop and INET in Geneva in April '12.

"The Board of PICISOC will shortly place an invitation online for our  
members to apply for Board endorsement for an ISOC Travel Fellowship  
to attend the Global workshop and INET in April 2012.

As a Board we would like to open up an opportunity for one of our  
members to attend this special international event.  Within our  
application process, we would like them to tell us how they are  
currently contributing to the work of PICISOC in their own countries  
or on behalf of the Chapter regionally. Ultimately, we are hoping to  
identify new leaders who will advocate for the internet in the Pacific."

Well done PICISOC for showing such great commitment to developing  
leadership. (I hope this inspires others to do likewise).
