>Do we need Teredo servers here at all? The user from an IPv6 network goes
to an IPv6 facebook home page. It is IPv6 to IPv6. There are two alternate
ways of handling the IPv4 >user. 1) the User is taken to an IPv6 page
through tunneling, which you say is impossible on such a large scale. 2) The
user from an IPv4 address is detected as an IPv4 user, greeted on >a page
that could still be an IPv4 page except for the message that "Today facebook
home page is on IPv6, [ you can't get there, sorry ] You are accessing from
an

>IPv4 network. To go to the usual face book page, click here" There is no
tunneling involved here, only an 'unnecessary' redirect page, which will
contain some info about IPv6 etc." >And then when he clicks on the redirect
URL, the user goes to the normal facebook page, rich for the day with a
banner and some links on World IPv6 day.

>

>IPv6 user => IPv6 home page with "you are on IPv6 message" => IPv6 and
regular content => usual experience

>

>IPv4 user => IPv4 page with "Oh, no you are on IPv4, alright, click here,
we will take you to the usual facebook page" => facebook home page with IPv6
day banner => usual experince

Dear all

I agree with Sivasubramanian.

In Taiwan’s IPv6 Day portal, we have do something like that…

I would like to have another issue.

Due to many reasons, each ISP may not know how many real IPv6 user in their
network. (it is hard to build the efficiency monitor system in time)

Could Facebook or google release the number of IPv4/IPv6 user rate for each
area or country after 6/8 ?

It will help us to discussion with our government to push IPv6.
