Dear Colleagues,

This is a friendly reminder that the list of all Chapter Voting Delegates for the upcoming Internet Society Board of Trustees election will be finalized on 8 April 2011.

Thanks to all who have already updated their Chapter's list of officers in the Chapter Portal (AMS). If you haven't done so yet, please make sure to update your list of officer roles at https://portal.isoc.org before 8 April 2011 to make sure that your Chapter has defined a "Voting Delegate" (and ideally an "Alternative Voting Delegate").

If there is no Voting Delegate (or Alternative Voting Delegate) listed for your Chapter on 8 April 2011, the Chapter Chair/President will be deemed to be the Voting Delegate.

NEED HELP? The latest version of the Chapter Portal (AMS) tutorial can be downloaded here: https://fileshare.tools.isoc.org/groups/membership/public/. The document <ChapterOfficerGoLiveGuide.pdf> offers step-by-step instructions for the AMS Administrators on creating new officer roles.

Please contact us at <chapter-support at isoc.org> if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Christine

>
> Chapter Trustee positions (one position to be filled this year):
>
> . Alain Aina - Benin
>
> . Nick Ashton-Hart - Switzerland
>
> . Marcin Cieslak - Poland
>
> Organizational Member Trustee positions (two positions to be filled this year):
>
> . Raúl Echeberria - Uruguay
>
> . Yrjö Länsipuro - Finland
>
> . Jason Livingood - USA
>
> . Bill Smith - USA
>
> . Theresa Swinehart - USA
>
> This concludes the work of the Nominations Committee. I would like to thank all the potential candidates who expressed an interest and willingness to serve on the board of trustees. The Committee was very encouraged by the strong response from many qualified candidates and narrowing down the field to the final slate was an extremely challenging task. We are confident that the nominees selected possess the qualifications outlined in the call for nominations and will represent the Internet Society effectively.
