[Chapter-delegates] Invitation to ISOC Chapter Communications Development group

Hello,

On the eve of its first anniversary, I write to thank the participants in the Chapter Communications Development (chapter-commdev) group and to invite further participation.

The chapter-commdev was initially formed about a year ago to provide input on a visual redesign of Internet Society materials. Since that time, the group had provided valuable input on a variety of communications-related activities. We are currently undertaking several projects that will greatly benefit from input of the Internet Society Chapter community. 

Perhaps the most visible will be a redesigned website for www.isoc.org, which was discussed on this list several months ago. We expect to provide regular updates to the chapter-delegates email list over the next few months. At the same time, we will engage and consult with the chapter-commdev group more closely on this project.

We will also be looking for initial input from the chapter-commdev group on a variety of communications-related issues, such as a further evolution of the Internet Society's visual design guidelines, and developing chapter-oriented tools and resources.

Please send me a note if you are interested in joining the chapter-commdev group, or if I can provide additional information.
