Hi,

I am also supportive of this new chapter. And I love to see fellow
Trustees wading into the difficulties of starting and running a chapter.
Eventually we would all be "chapter people."

>> * The charter members as listed in this application as well as others who have expressed interest in joining -- the 50 or so individuals represent students to retirees from across the New England region and span technology, policy, and business disciplines -- and at least 20 have offered to volunteer in some capacity. Their support and engagement already has been and will be essential to mobilizing and getting this chapter launched.

>> * Scott Bradner and Jonathan Zittrain from Harvard and the ISOC Board who have graciously made themselves available for face-to-face meetings and given us valuable perspective. As you know, Scott will also be the featured speaker at our first event next week in Boston.
>>
>> Finally, a special note to the ISOC chapter team as a whole for the responsiveness and professionalism over the past few months. We look forward to a strong partnership in the years to come.
