Joly,
this is a great find.
Though ISOC staff monitor this list, and therefore must be fully aware of
the briefing, and planning to have someone attend, I will make it known to
them and to the Board of Trustees immediately.
Some Geneva-based top ISOC staff may be out of town due to the Board of
Trustees meeting which just took place Saturday and Sunday in California,
though.
I can't restrain myself from commenting on the invitation's weeeeird sense
of what "openness" means: parties welcome to the briefing must either be
accredited, or have "demonstrated knowledge and experience in issues
related to the Internet Governance Forum" - one is left wondering whether
there will be an exam applied to decide whether they will let you in!!
Like there were thousands of people going to storm the UN
for this briefing who are in Geneva tomorrow (excluding Mr. Sha Zukang's
throngs of fans.) Maybe they know something we don't know about how the
IGF has suddenly become a popular subject out there.
