Speaking with my elections committee chair hat on:

This sounds like a interesting idea for future rounds. I must say that
other parts of the membership expressed similar requests. 
You may have noticed that agenda for this week's board meeting mentions an
item on this topic.

(B) Review Nominations Committee process for election of Trustees in light
of ISOC's growth and responsibility
PROPOSED Outcome: Establish Committee to review election procedures and
timeline
