[Chapter-delegates] ISOC BoT Final Slate Announcement

Dear Members,

The final slates are set for the 2010 ISOC Board of Trustees elections. 
Three positions on the Board of Trustees are open for election on 12 
April, 2010. Two Trustees will be elected by ISOC Organizational Members 
and one by ISOC Chapters. Successful candidates will serve 3-year terms 
beginning in June 2010 and ending in June 2013.

The final slates of candidates are:

Organizational Membership Election:

Brad Biddle, United States
Hiroshi Esaki, Japan
Eva Frölich, Sweden
Lawrence Lessig, United States
Michael Nelson, United States
Leonard St-Aubin, Canada
Richard Woundy, United States

Chapter Election:

Narelle Clark, Australia
Eduardo Diaz, Puerto Rico
Andy Linton, New Zealand

Electronic ballots will be sent to designated voting representatives 
from each constituency by 12 March, 2010. Votes may be cast any time 
from 12 March, 2010 at 00:01 UTC up until the close of the election on 
12 April 2010 at 23:59 UTC. Election results will be announced in late May.

ISOC Members and voting representatives can familiarize themselves with 
the candidates by reviewing their biographies posted here:

In addition, the Elections Committee will assemble a set of questions 
designed to allow the candidates to share their perspectives relative to 
ISOC's mission, strategic goals and challenges. Candidates will have an 
opportunity to post their responses to the blog which is located at:

ISOC members may submit suggestions for questions that the Elections 
Committee should ask - these should be sent to qanda2010 at isoc.org. 
Voting representatives are encouraged to read candidates' responses 
prior to casting their votes.
