Sabrina-
Just a comment that I and other ISOC members with disabilities look forward
to a time when the information meetings on line are accessible.
Connectivity on line does not mean that a person with a disability can use
it. As a result, those of us with disabilities are not able to participate
on the same basis as other ISOC members.
This is another reminder that the Marratech tools do not meet the
international standards for accessible design. Now that ISOC has invested
in the W3C efforts - which include accessibility - perhaps this issue can
now be addressed?

Subject: [Chapter-delegates] Marratech clients - information related
toe-meetings
Dear Colleagues,
As many of you know, we are using Marratech as conference tool for our
Chapter and member e-meetings (e.g. the upcoming e-meeting on "ISOC
Community Grants Programme Information" on 2 Feb 2010).
This is to let you know that the web site of Marratech AB
(www.marratech.com) has now been shut down, but ISOC's Marratech
installation will continue to operate.
Our recommended conference access method has always been to use a
downloaded, standalone Marratech client - but please note that this is
now the *only* access method as the 'webstart' mechanism using a
web-based client no longer works. You are no longer able to enter a
Marratech conference by clicking a link to a room in a web browser.
We have included download links to the client software on the ISOC web
page at http://marratech.tools.isoc.org/files/
Please contact <chapter-support at isoc.org> should you have any questions
or if you want to test the software prior to a meeting.
Regards,
Sabrina Wilmot
