[Chapter-delegates] Fwd: State Department: Office of Public Liaison Launches Facebook Page

Hi,

the BIG question for many of us here, outside the US, is how to engage 
with these initiatives, which inevitably are of global impact and 
interest, through our US-based headquarters, while:

a. not making ISOC loose footing in the US;
b. not perpetuating the perception that ISOC is a US organization;
c. combining the local (for US chapters) and global.

If I see something in Ms. Clinton's speech that I think need be clarified 
or changed (equating the threat level of intellectual-property theft with 
terrorism could signal strong support for ACTA, for example), ¿what would 
be the suggested use of these online tools, if any?

This does not detract from the support that many of the strong points of 
the speech deserve and how well they align with ISOC's and many ISOCers' 
views.
