Hi all,
I am glad to read of the chapter application from Bolivia.
I have recently met a couple of the people and supportive organizations
involved and think they are able and well-oriented to build a chapter
which both identifies with ISOC's mission and ideals and is oriented
towards benefitting the Bolivian people. It seems to my that there will be
diversity and maturity in the leadership.
Therefore I think there are good predictors of success.
I for one will also make the commitment to support their growth with joint
activities and other forms of cooperation which we can provide, both
personally and with the resources of the ISOC Mexico chapter.
I am not committing a final vote in the Board of Trustees, pending the
rest of the Trustees' necessary due diligence, though; but am happy to see
the application move to study there.
Yours,
Alejandro Pisanty
